ModCloth Clothing Collage | Tango For Two

ModCloth have very kindly given me the opportunity to create an outfit collage for them using one staple piece, which I could accessorise with up to 7 other items from their store.

The staple and centrepiece item from the ModCloth store is a beautiful navy blue and pink lace dress (Tango for Two). If you've seen some of my fashion posts in the past, you'll know I'm obsessed with lace dresses- especially in the Winter as I think they are an essential in everyone's wardrobe to liven up the dull, cold months. What's fascinating about this dress is that it has a gorgeous neon pink underlay- which looks effortlessly girly with the navy blue crocheted lace pattern on top.

I wanted the dress to stand out in the outfit, so I paired it with silver/grey accessories. As for jewellery, my eyes were drawn to a particular silver bracelet (Metallic Memories), which I chose mainly because of the dainty silver leaves reminding me of the Winter season. I also added some silver earrings (Quote Couture Earrings in Silver). I decided not to add a necklace as the neckline of the dress was quite high and I didn't want to draw any attention away from my centrepiece item.

For any party look, you'll need a bag to carry around all your essentials. I chose this clutch (Play The Party Clutch in Silver) particularly because it's big enough to fit in everything you need as well as being small enough to stop it being a fuss during your night out. It has silver sequins and a chain, so if you prefer, save your hands and pop it over your shoulder!

When I saw the dress ModCloth wanted me to incorporate into an outfit, I immediately thought of looking for silver sparkly shoes to go with it. The shoes (Yes I Candescent in Silver) have stunning frosted glitter shimmer all around- perfect for any party occasion!

Finally, I brought the whole outfit together by adding a grey coat (Ladylike Lineage Coat). I've actually been looking for a coat like this, as the woven black and white material will go with any outfit. I especially love that the coat has white lace detailing- which adds a girly vibe to the outfit. This coat is perfect to throw on top to keep you warm and still look very fashionable!

I'd like to thank ModCloth again for giving me the opportunity to browse through their wonderful store. If you're not familiar with ModCloth, they are an on line clothing and decor outlet consisting of independent designers that fit ModCloth's vintage-inspired aesthetic. You can visit the website HERE and read Susan's story HERE- her ModCloth founding story is really amazing!
